A Senior Accountant manages financial records, ensures regulatory compliance, and oversees junior staff. Key duties include financial reporting, general ledger reconciliation, and budgeting analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
General Ledger: Manage month-end/year-end close, post journal entries, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to GAAP/IFRS standards and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
Budgeting & Analysis: Analyze budget-to-actual variances and assist in financial forecasting.
Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and review the work of junior accounting staff and bookkeepers.
