Accountant (Articleship)

Key Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally. • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions. • Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, Income Tax returns, and ensure timely compliance. • Assist in preparing financial statements, balance sheets, and other reports. • Coordinate and comply with ROC filings and other statutory obligations. • Conduct monthly reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable. • Support internal and external audits. • Stay updated with current accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory changes. • Work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Qualifications & Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance. • 1–5 years of experience in accounting and compliance roles.

Proficient in Tally ERP and MS Excel. • Strong understanding of Income Tax, GST, ROC, and TDS regulations. • Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements. • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. • Good communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills: • Experience working in a CA firm or similar corporate environment. • Knowledge of accounting standards and financial regulatory compliance.
