Key Roles & Responsibilities
A. Accounting & Financial Management
Manage day-to-day financial transactions.
Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement, financial audit reports.
Review ledger entries, account reconciliation, and journal postings.
Monitor costing structure including material and production-related costs.
B. Billing & Documentation Control
Oversee billing team work (sales invoice generation, credit note, debit note).
Ensure timely and accurate billing in line with GST compliance.
Maintain proper document control and approval process.
C. Statutory Compliance
Handle GST, TDS, PF/ESIC (financial), Income Tax, ROC filings.
Prepare and submit statutory returns as per timelines.
Coordinate with auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audit requirements.
D. Payment Collection & Dealer Accounts
Perform dealer account reconciliation and outstanding report submission.
Assist sales team in payment follow-up and credit terms management.
E. Banking & Treasury Management
Maintain bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
Manage OD/loan EMI schedules, vendor payments, fund transfer, LC if applicable.
Monitor cash flow and working capital requirements.
F. Payroll Coordination
Coordinate with HR for salary finalization, expense booking, TDS deduction.
Maintain salary payable record and ensure timely payroll entries.
G. MIS Reporting & Budgeting
Prepare monthly MIS reports, profitability statements, collection analysis.
Prepare annual budgets and monitor actual vs plan variance.
Submit financial reports to management by 5th of every month.
H. Audit, Controls & Policy Implementation
Ensure compliance with company SOPs/DOPs related to accounts.
Conduct regular financial risk assessments and internal control checks.
Implement process improvement initiatives.
