Budget: ₹3 LPA to ₹5 LPA maximum
Candidates without relevant export accounting and banking experience should not be considered.
Job Summary
The Senior Accounts Executive – Export Accounting will be responsible for day-to-day accounting, export accounting, banking, receivables, GST, TDS, reconciliations and MIS, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
General Accounting
Maintain accurate books of accounts and accounting records.
Pass journal, sales, purchase, receipt and payment entries.
Maintain customer and vendor ledgers, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
Perform bank reconciliation and support month-end/year-end closing activities.
Export Accounting
Handle accounting for export sales and export receivables.
Verify export invoices and supporting documents.
Account for foreign currency transactions and exchange differences.
Track export payment realization and reconcile export invoices with bank receipts.
Coordinate with Logistics and other departments for export transaction requirements.
Export Banking & Documentation
Handle/verify Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Shipping Bill, B/L/AWB and related documents.
Support transactions involving LC, advance payments and bank collections.
Track export realization, e-BRC and related banking records.
Maintain LUT and export GST documentation.
GST & Tax Compliance
Handle GST accounting and support GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B preparation.
Perform ITC reconciliation and maintain supporting records.
Handle zero-rated exports/LUT-related accounting and documentation.
Maintain TDS accounting, reconciliation and return-related records.
Receivables & Payables
Prepare and monitor customer/vendor ageing reports.
Follow up on overdue export receivables and payment realization.
Verify vendor invoices and reconcile customer/vendor ledgers.
MIS & Reporting
Prepare monthly finance MIS and management reports.
Prepare debtor/creditor ageing, bank/cash position and export receivable/realization reports.
Provide accurate accounting data and reconciliations to management.
Audit & Compliance
Maintain records and schedules required for statutory, GST, tax and internal audits.
Support auditors with reconciliations and required documentation.
Maintain confidentiality of financial, customer and company information.
Qualifications & Experience
B.Com/M.Com; CA Inter/CMA Inter will be an advantage.
Minimum 3 years of relevant Accounts & Finance experience.
Experience in export-oriented, manufacturing, engineering, industrial or trading companies preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, export accounting/documentation, foreign currency transactions and reconciliations.
Working knowledge of SAP/Tally/ERP systems.
Strong MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF/SUMIFS, IF and reconciliation/MIS functions.
