About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have experience in editing both long-form and short-form videos for platforms such as YouTube and Instagram. You should be skilled in creating engaging, high-quality video content that aligns with our brand voice and connects with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and produce long-format videos for YouTube, including educational, interview, and tutorial-style content.
Create short-format videos and reels for Instagram, ensuring they are engaging, fast-paced, and optimized for social media.
Collaborate closely with the creative, marketing, and content teams to understand project requirements and brand guidelines.
Add motion graphics, transitions, captions, and effects to enhance video storytelling.
Optimize videos for different platforms while maintaining quality standards.
Manage and organize video assets, maintaining a clear workflow.
Stay updated with current trends, editing techniques, and platform algorithms to create competitive content.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio of both long and short-form work.
Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or similar).
Understanding of YouTube and Instagram content strategies, aspect ratios, and audience preferences.
Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling.
Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Creative mindset with problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of basic color grading and audio editing.
Experience in creating thumbnails, titles, and metadata for YouTube videos.
Basic understanding of SEO for video content.
