Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Lathe Operator to join our mechanical workshop team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating conventional lathe machines for Various lathe operations. Skills in shaping and finishing will be additional preference

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate lathe machine to perform turning, facing, drilling, threading, and finishing operations.

• Read and understand engineering drawings and machining instructions.

• Measure finished components using instruments like a vernier caliper, micrometer, and dial gauges.

• Ensure precision and quality of machined parts as per specifications.

• Maintain machine tools and follow daily maintenance routines.

• Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and PPE protocols.

• Work closely with the fabrication and mechanical maintenance team for job planning.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in lathe machine operation.

• ITI Mechanical preferred.

• Should be resident of Howrah or within 1 hour of traveling time from factory
