Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Engagement:
Conduct outbound calls to potential customers who have started but abandoned online insurance applications via the online channel.
Revive incomplete applications by explaining policy features, benefits, and terms to guide customers through the end-to-end buying journey.
Address customer queries, objections, and concerns to facilitate completion of purchases.
Target Achievement:
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets by converting abandoned applications into successful policy issuances
Identify cross-selling/upselling opportunities (e.g., add-on riders, higher coverage) to maximize cusomer value
Process Adherence:
Follow scripts, compliance guidelines (IRDAI), and internal sales protocols.
Ensure accurate data entry in CRM systems to track customer interactions and application statuses.
Performance Tracking:
Maintain records of call outcomes, conversions, customer feedback and reasons for application abandonment.
Participate in daily/weekly reviews to discuss performance metrics like conversion rate, AHT, and sales volume.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build rapport with prospects to resolve policy-related queries.
Escalate complex issues to the supervisor as needed.
Key Skills & Competencies:
Prior experience in insurance tele sales (life/health) or handling incomplete online applications.
Ability to diagnose abandonment reasons (e.g., confusion, payment issues) and offer solutions.
Strong persuasion and negotiation skills to drive sales closures.
Familiarity with CRM tools and online sales platforms.
Excellent verbal communication (English + regional language preferred).
Goal-oriented with resilience to handle rejection and meet targets.
Basic understanding of insurance products and regulatory norms (IRDAI).
