Responsibillities
1. Material Receiving
Receive raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods as per delivery challan/invoice.
Conduct physical verification of quantity and quality (along with QA team).
Ensure materials are stored in designated areas (ambient, chilled, or frozen).
2. Storage & Inventory Management
.3. Issuance of Materials
Issue materials to production or dispatch teams as per approved requisitions.
Ensure timely and accurate entries in issue registers/systems.
Maintain stock levels for consumables and report low stock for reordering.
4. Record Keeping
Maintain inward, outward, and stock registers or update ERP/WMS software.
Keep records of GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MRN (Material Requisition Note),and issuance logs.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports.
5. Housekeeping & Hygiene
Maintain cleanliness of store areas, including cold rooms.
Ensure materials are stored off the floor and away from walls as per GMP.
Use of PPE (apron, gloves, headcap, etc.) while handling food materials.
7. Audit & Compliance
Assist in internal/external audits (BRCGS, FSSAI, ISO).
Maintain traceability records for RM, PM, and FG.
Ensure non-conforming stock is isolated and labelled properly.
�� Skills & Competencies:
Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and cold chain.
Familiar with inventory software or ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Batch Master etc.).
Accuracy in record-keeping and attention to detail.
