Job Title: Service Engineer
• Installs and optimizes hardware/software/network products and configurations of our varied products at customer sites.
• Diagnoses and resolves product performance problems.
• Performs maintenance and repairs.
• Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventive maintenance and configurations, which may impact product performance.
• Proactively responds to potential equipment issues.
• Deliver fully integrated solutions, which may include peripherals, communications, operating systems and applications software.
• Train other field engineers and customers in the solutions
• Travel during normal working hours to accounts based on a weekly schedule under Service Manager
• Co-ordinate closely with sales and application team for necessary operational requirements
• A BE or B.Tech degree in Electronics/Instrumentation/Biomedical Instrumentation within the science field -- e.g. chemistry, analytical chemistry biochemistry, biotechnology or similar
• 2+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience with maintaining refrigeration systems like freezers, compressors, etc.
• Experience with troubleshooting and problem solving
• Experience with the Lab Automation and spectroscopy solutions is desired but not essential
• Verbal and written communication is clear, respectful and timely.
• Enjoy travelling and visiting customers. (Above 80%).
