Responsibilities:
Responsible for keeping the data secured by copying it into local and cloud servers and maintaining its integrity to ensure smooth operations.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems, including editing workstations, file servers, and network infrastructure.
Manage network configurations to ensure that all systems operate smoothly and securely.
Regularly perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
Maintain and secure passwords, file system security, and data integrity for desktop environment.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely, and via phone.
Ensure constant availability of technical resources.
Manage setups for new employees and provide IT support for on boarding sessions.
Keep an inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses.
Manage the organisation's cloud storage accounts, ensuring proper integration and accessibility.
Stay current with the latest technologies and security innovations and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital photography processing technology.
Communicate regularly with executive management and all users of information services and systems.
Qualifications:
6 months to 1 year of experience in IT administration or a related role.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Administrator, System Administrator, or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN).
Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws.
Good understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks, etc.
Experience in cloud services.
Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
