We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Commis Bakery to join our culinary team. As a Commis in the bakery section, you will assist in preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and desserts, maintaining high standards of hygiene and food quality. This is an entry-level role ideal for individuals passionate about baking and eager to learn and grow in a professional kitchen environment.
Assist in the preparation and baking of breads, rolls, pastries, and other bakery items as per recipes and instructions.
Measure and mix ingredients accurately using proper baking techniques.
Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, proofers, and sheeters under supervision.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients and baked goods.
Follow hygiene and safety standards in compliance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).
Support senior chefs and team members during food preparation and service.
Receive and store bakery supplies and ingredients as directed.
Assist with stock rotation and inventory checks.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and supervisors.
