Quantity Surveyor

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our at Hi-tech Valuers Llp

Key Responsibilities:

1.     Drafting & Design (AutoCAD):

·         Convert sketches/specifications into detailed 2D/3D floor plans using AutoCAD.

·         Update and revise drawings based on feedback or mark-ups.

·         Ensure compliance with drafting standards and layer conventions.

·         Assist with documentation management-file naming, version control, sheet sets, title blocks, legends.

2.     Quantity Surveying / Estimation Support:

·         Extract quantities from AutoCAD plans-areas, lengths, counts-and compile a basic Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for elements such as flooring, walls, doors, windows.

·         Assist senior quantity surveyors in cost estimation, referencing standard rates or catalogue specifications.

·         Cross-check quantities and material specifications for accuracy and consistency.

3.     Quality & Compliance:

·         Perform self- and peer-reviews of drawings and Qs before supervisor approval.

·         Ensure all outputs comply with relevant industry codes, building regulations, and internal standards.

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma and 0.5 - 2 years of experience. Applicants must be proficient in tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp or 3Ds Max and have a strong knowledge of estimation & floor planning.

• It is a Full Time Architect / Interior Designer job for candidates with 6 months - 2 years of experience.
