Job Description:
• Supervises Safety and Security related activities at Warehouse (Safety committee lead) as per S K Logistics SOP and Guide ERT members for safety related activities and Implementation of SHE related activities at S K Logistics.
• Coordination with SHE team for SHE related work.
• To periodically inspect workplace to eliminate potential hazards such as, wrong working methods, high noise levels & contaminated drinking water.
• To implement strategic Plans for Workplace Safety.
• To conduct in-house training programs to educate their employees about safety.
• To investigate accidents of the past in coordination with Engineering Team and identify their causes and find new ways to avoid them in future.
• To ensure daily site inspection, identify any risks, organize and conduct safety meetings, attend internal and external audits.
• To ensure training for safety to staff, organize safety campaigns, Carry out mock drills, first Aid training.
• To assist organisation to comply with safety laws in systematic and organized approach.
• To ensure compliances with statutory provisions and required documents.
• To continuously raise awareness about safety amongst employees of the company
• To ensure adequate and timely procurement and maintenance of personal protective equipment’s.
• Overall House Keeping & Facility Management activities of all the sites.
• Supervising House Keeping & Security Staff
• Arrangement of Company Bus or other vehicle arrangement for the staff.
· Monitoring and tracking of safety score on daily basis.
· To present and discuss Safety KPI with management every month.
· To ensure work permits are provided to perform any hot/cold job work.
