About Us

Katha Rama Films is a creative production house specializing in films, commercials, music videos, corporate videos, short-form content, and digital campaigns. We are looking for a talented and passionate Video Editor to join our in-house team and contribute to creating impactful visual content.

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw video footage into engaging, high-quality content (short-form, long-form, reels, ads, and cinematic edits).

Work proficiently on Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, and Photoshop.

Handle color grading, transitions, visual effects, and audio syncing.

Create trendy and visually appealing content tailored for social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).

Add typography, graphics, and animations to enhance storytelling.

Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver on time.

Stay updated with the latest editing styles, trends, and techniques.

Requirements

2 – 4 years of professional editing experience (freshers with strong portfolios may also apply).

Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio/reel is mandatory).

Strong command over Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Photoshop.

Good sense of pacing, storytelling, and sound design.

Knowledge of motion graphics and color grading.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Creativity, attention to detail, and strong time-management skills.

Work Conditions

Work Hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Salary Range (CTC): ₹18,000 – ₹28,000 per month (based on skills & experience; negotiable for the right talent)

Job Type: Full-time, Work from Office
