About the Role
We are setting up a new, small-scale but high-precision warehouse facility in Peenya, Bangalore, catering to the automobile industry. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager with hands-on expertise in managing small parts inventory, precise reporting, and smooth coordination with clients, transporters, and vendors. The role demands a high level of vigilance, accuracy, and proactive management.
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing & Documentation – Prepare and process invoices in line with client requirements, ensuring accuracy and timely submission through SAP.
Stock Monitoring & Control – Maintain real-time stock accuracy for small automotive parts in SAP; prevent stockouts and discrepancies.
Cycle Counting – Plan and execute regular cycle counts to ensure inventory integrity and update in SAP.
Manpower Supervision – Manage 2 warehouse workers for loading, unloading, and repackaging activities.
Reporting – Generate and submit daily, weekly, and monthly stock and activity reports to management using SAP and Microsoft Excel.
Client & Transporter Coordination – Liaise with clients/customers for order schedules, and coordinate with transporters for timely dispatches and deliveries.
Inbound Railway Goods Handling – Oversee inward goods from the railway station, ensuring accurate receipt, GRN creation in SAP, and proper documentation.
Warehouse Operations – Manage a warehouse either inside a factory setup or as part of a 3PL facility, with a focus on automotive spare parts or small components.
Vendor & Admin Management – Handle day-to-day admin requirements such as stationery supplies, IT support vendors, and other operational needs.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 3 years in the automobile industry.
Proven track record of handling small parts inventory in a factory warehouse or 3PL environment.
Software Skills: Proficiency in SAP (inventory, invoicing, GRN creation, reporting) and Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, reports).
Strong knowledge of inventory control methods, invoicing processes, and reporting formats.
Experience supervising small teams and managing vendor relationships.
Good communication skills for interaction with clients, customers, and transporters.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of warehouse operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience in managing inward goods from railway consignments.
