Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the transport fleet including cold storage vehicles.

• Ensure effective vehicle scheduling, tracking, and maintenance.

• Handle vendor coordination and negotiations for outsourced logistics and transport services.

• Monitor driver performance, fuel usage, and route optimization to control costs.

• Maintain documentation related to transport, including permits, insurance, and vehicle servicing records.

• Ensure all transport operations comply with statutory norms, safety protocols, and company policies.

• Troubleshoot logistics and transportation issues to minimize delays.

• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for timely dispatch and delivery.

• Develop and monitor SOPs for transport management.

• Report on KPIs related to fleet efficiency, vendor performance, and delivery metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications:•

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in transport management, preferably in logistics or cold chain logistics.

• Strong understanding of vehicle control, maintenance, and fleet operations.

• Experience with vendor management and negotiation.

• Familiarity with cold storage vehicles and temperature-sensitive goods logistics is mandatory.

• Good knowledge of local and interstate transport regulations.

• Proficient in using GPS tracking systems and logistics software.

• Strong communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.
