Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven individual to ensure that every garment leaving our partner factories meets our high standards for fit, finish, and consistency. This role is vital in maintaining the brand’s reputation for premium-quality uniforms.
Conduct inline inspections at various stages of garment production to detect quality issues early.
Visit factories and vendor units regularly to monitor compliance with Gubbacci quality protocols.
Check for consistency in stitching, shape, color matching, fabric quality, trims, and overall garment construction.
Evaluate alignment of design elements and print placements with Gubbacci’s approved samples.
Verify that garments conform to Gubbacci’s size specifications and approved fit standards.
Measure garments to ensure accuracy and consistency across size sets, including regular, slim fit, and relaxed fit options.
Perform routine inspections during different stages of production.
Identify issues such as stitching errors, incorrect measurements, fabric flaws, and raise flags for correction.
Conduct final inspections before packing and dispatch.
Ensure finished products are defect-free and meet all requirements, including:
Proper fit and size
No missing buttons, open seams, or uneven stitching
Labeling and tags as per specifications
Consistency in finish and garment presentation
Possess good knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, measurement systems, patterns, and construction techniques.
Understand industry-standard quality benchmarks and apply them effectively.
Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality findings.
Report issues and recommend corrective actions to production and merchandising teams.
Use tools like Excel/Google Sheets to document and track inspections and outcomes.
Diploma/Degree in Fashion Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, or Textile Engineering preferred.
1–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Production in an apparel company (school uniform industry experience is a plus).
Basic sewing knowledge to understand construction and common defect causes.
Good communication skills in English and Kannada.
Willingness to travel to factories and vendor locations regularly.
