QUALITY CONTROL (QC) - Export
· Check the quality of fabrics, trims, and accessories before production starts.
· Ensure materials meet the approved standards and specifications.
· Report any non-conformities to the sourcing or merchandising team.
· Inspect garments during production at different stages (e.g. cutting, sewing, finishing).
· Identify and report stitching defects, measurement issues, fabric flaws, or incorrect construction.
· Provide feedback to the production team to correct mistakes in real-time.
· Ensure that the line is following the approved sample or tech pack.
· Conduct inspections on finished garments before packing and shipment.
· Use sampling methods like AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) to decide on approval/rejection.
· Check for proper labelling, finishing, packaging, and presentation.
· Work closely with production, merchandising, and QA (Quality Assurance) teams.
· Communicate quality issues and help implement corrective and preventive actions.
· Participate in pre-production meetings (PPM) to understand buyer requirements.
· Ensure that garments meet buyer specifications and international standards.
· Follow SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and quality manuals.
· Prepare for and assist in third-party or buyer quality audits.
· Assist in training operators and helpers on quality awareness and best practices.
· Promote a quality-first mindset on the production floor.
