Procurement Manager

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to oversee vendor development, rate negotiations, and cost optimization for our relocation and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the Packers & Movers industry, including vehicles, packing material, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage a network of local and outstation vendors (vehicles, packing materials, labor contractors, etc.).

• Negotiate rates and contracts to ensure cost efficiency and service quality.

• Manage procurement of packing materials (cartons, bubble wraps, tapes, wooden crates, etc.) in line with operational requirements.

• Ensure timely availability of vehicles for HHG (Household Goods) and office relocation.

• Maintain and monitor vendor agreements, SLAs, and compliance documents.

• Analyze procurement costs and implement strategies for cost savings.

• Collaborate with operations and business development teams for smooth execution of projects.

• Prepare and maintain MIS reports on procurement activities.

• Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and quality standards.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of Packers & Movers / HHG relocation operations.

• Good understanding of vehicles, material sourcing, and vendor negotiations.

• Familiarity with rate structures, costing methods, and market trends.

• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and MIS reporting.

• Ability to handle multiple vendor networks and work under deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in Business/Commerce/Logistics or equivalent.

• 3–5 years of procurement experience (preferably in Packers & Movers or Logistics industry).
