Procurement Manager – FMCG Manufacturing
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to manage end-to-end purchasing operations for our FMCG production facility. The role involves vendor management, cost control, demand planning, and ensuring uninterrupted supply for production.
Key Responsibilities
• Procurement of raw materials, packaging materials and consumables
• Vendor identification, onboarding and negotiation
• Cost optimization and rate benchmarking
• Inventory planning in coordination with production planning
• Creation and tracking of POs and GRNs
• Alternate supplier development to minimize risk
• Material availability planning to avoid production downtime
• Monitoring price trends and consumption patterns
• Vendor performance evaluation and compliance checks
Required Skills & Competencies
• Vendor management & negotiation
• Strong knowledge of FMCG procurement process
• Experience with ERP / Inventory systems
• Demand planning & inventory control
• GST, billing and documentation understanding
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication & coordination abilities
Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
