Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Import Pricing Executive to handle rate procurement, quote preparation, and support the sales team in securing competitive pricing for import shipments. The candidate must be familiar with contracts, freight rate structures, and vendor negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with overseas agents, and co-loaders to obtain competitive import rates.

• Prepare import quotations for sales and direct clients in a timely manner.

• Analyse schedules, space availability, and route options to ensure cost-effective solutions.

• Maintain rate sheets and update pricing data regularly.

• Support the sales team by providing pricing inputs for RFQs and spot inquiries.

• Track market trends and competitor pricing strategies.

• Ensure pricing is aligned with margin expectations and management approvals.

• Coordinate with operations and customer service for shipment execution if required.

Requirements:

• 4-9 years of experience in air import pricing.

• Strong knowledge of rate structures, HAWB/MAWB, and INCOTERMS.

• Good negotiation and communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and freight pricing.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple rate requests.

• Familiarity with global freight networks and vendor relations.
