Picking & Packing – Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick customer orders accurately from warehouse shelves using order sheets or scanners.

• Pack products securely following company standards to avoid damage during transit.

• Label, seal, and prepare packages for dispatch and shipping.

• Conduct quality checks to ensure correct items, quantities, and packaging materials.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the picking and packing area.

• Handle inventory safely and report any stock shortages or damages to supervisors.

• Assist in loading/unloading goods and arranging them in designated storage areas.

• Follow safety guidelines and use warehouse equipment properly (trolleys, pallet jacks, etc.).

• Work with the warehouse team to meet daily order fulfillment targets.

• Update inventory systems or checklists after completing picks and packs.

Skills Required:

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Basic knowledge of warehouse tools and scanning devices.

• Physical stamina to lift, move, and pack products.

• Teamwork and good communication skills.
