Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process all required for export and Import and customs documents (e.g., commercial invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, certificates of origin).
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to plan and manage international shipments.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations (tariffs, import/export laws, Incoterms).
Track shipment status; proactively resolve delays, customs holds, or damage issues.
Negotiate freight rates and manage logistics costs and duty optimization.
Maintain accurate records and prepare reports (e.g., MIS, cost analysis, delivery performance).
Liaise with procurement, operations, sales, and finance to support shipment planning and billing.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
2–5+ years experience in import/export logistics, preferably with machinery or heavy equipment.
