The Floor Manager is responsible for supervising daily floor activities, managing staff performance, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining a professional environment. The role focuses on coordinating between departments, improving productivity, and ensuring that targets and quality standards are consistently met.
Supervise and monitor day-to-day floor operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Assign duties and responsibilities to team members and ensure accountability.
Ensure adherence to organizational processes, policies, and quality standards.
Monitor attendance, punctuality, and discipline of all staff on the floor.
Handle queries, grievances, and performance issues of floor staff.
Coordinate with different departments (HR, Admin, Training, etc.) for smooth operations.
Track daily performance reports and ensure achievement of team targets.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and professional conduct across the floor.
Conduct daily briefings and motivate staff to maintain high productivity.
Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly performance reports with management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to multitask and handle pressure efficiently.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Time management and organizational skills.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (preferably in Management or Operations).
2–5 years of experience in floor supervision, operations, or team management.
Experience in skill development/training or retail/hospitality industry preferred.
On-site role with active interaction with staff and participants/clients.
Requires flexibility to manage multiple shifts or extended hours as needed.
