About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Fleet Manager to oversee our company's vehicle operations. In this role, you will manage fleet logistics, ensure timely maintenance, and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize fleet performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage daily operations of the vehicle fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and routing.
Coordinate regular maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
Monitor fuel consumption and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
Develop and manage the fleet budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Supervise and train fleet staff, including drivers and maintenance personnel.
Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement.
Negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers.
Implement safety programs and ensure adherence to safety protocols.

Proficient in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
Ability to manage budgets and analyze financial data.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Proven experience in fleet management or a related role.
