Bill of Lading / Air Waybill

Certificate of Origin

Letter of Credit documents (if applicable)

Ensuring documents comply with international trade regulations

Liaising with:

CHA (Customs House Agents)

Freight forwarders

Transporters

Shipping lines

Banks (for LC-related documentation)

Tracking the status of shipments.

Booking containers or air cargo slots.

Coordinating transportation from warehouse to port.

Monitoring real-time shipment tracking.

Attention to detail

Knowledge of INCOTERMS, HS codes, and trade compliance

Familiarity with DGFT and export incentives (like RoDTEP, MEIS) in India

Good coordination and communication skills

Experience with ERP systems and customs portals.
