Job Description:
The Steward is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. Duties include washing dishes and kitchen utensils, maintaining hygiene standards, cleaning workstations and equipment, disposing of waste properly, and assisting chefs and kitchen staff as needed. The role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils.
Keep kitchen and storage areas clean and organized.
Support chefs and kitchen staff with basic tasks.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Remove garbage and manage waste disposal properly.
Skills & Requirements:
Basic understanding of hygiene and cleanliness standards.
Physical stamina and ability to stand for long hours.
Team player with a positive attitude.
Previous experience in hospitality is a plus but not required.
