Job Title: Bartender
Department: Food & Beverage / Hospitality
Reporting To: Bar Manager / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and personable Bartender to provide an exceptional drinking and dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes.

• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar area and equipment.

• Take beverage orders and serve snacks or food when required.

• Check customers’ identification and confirm legal drinking age.

• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.

• Upsell drinks and promotions to maximize revenue.

• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.

• Follow all food and beverage safety and sanitation policies.

• Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, promotions, and bar trends.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role.

• Knowledge of a wide range of drinks and cocktail recipes.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.

• Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• High school diploma or equivalent; bartending certification is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Flair bartending or mixology training.

• Basic knowledge of wines, beers, and spirits.

• Familiarity with POS systems and billing procedures.
