Hotel Holiday Home is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Stewards to join our hospitality team. The Steward will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment. Experience with IDS Next hospitality software is preferred as it supports our operational systems and efficiency.
Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, equipment, and service ware.
Support the culinary team with dishwashing, equipment storage, and general kitchen organization.
Follow all health, hygiene, and safety standards as per hotel policy and regulatory requirements.
Assist with inventory and stock rotation under supervision.
Ensure timely setup and clearing of service areas during events or busy meal periods.
Maintain waste disposal systems and recycling practices.
Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Operate kitchen equipment and software systems responsibly, especially IDS Next, if applicable.
Prior experience as a Steward or similar role in a hotel or resort is desirable.
Familiarity with IDS Next hotel management software is highly preferred.
Basic understanding of hygiene and safety standards in hospitality.
Physically fit to handle kitchen-related tasks such as lifting and cleaning.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
