Key Responsibilities:
Dishwashing & Cleaning
Wash and sanitize all dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, and pans.
Operate and maintain dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
Ensure all kitchen utensils and tools are cleaned and stored properly.
Kitchen & Work Area Maintenance
Clean and mop kitchen floors, walls, and surfaces regularly.
Maintain cleanliness of sinks, trolleys, and workstations.
Ensure the kitchen and back-of-house areas are kept neat and organized.
Waste Disposal
Properly segregate and dispose of kitchen waste and garbage.
Clean and sanitize garbage bins and waste disposal areas regularly.
Support to Kitchen Staff
Assist chefs with basic prep work like peeling, chopping, or fetching ingredients when required.
Replenish kitchen supplies such as cleaning agents, paper towels, and dish soap.
Compliance with Safety & Hygiene Standards
Follow standard operating procedures for cleanliness and hygiene (e.g., HACCP, FSSAI norms).
Report any hygiene issues, damages, or broken equipment to the supervisor immediately.
Inventory & Supply Maintenance
Inform the stewarding supervisor of low stock in cleaning materials or tools.
Assist in unloading and organizing kitchen supply deliveries if needed.
Equipment Care
Handle and clean kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, grills) as per guidelines.
Ensure proper storage and care of all kitchen cleaning tools and machines
