We are looking for a Restaurant Cum Banquet Manager to join our team at Infinite Learning & Entertainment to provide excellent dining service to the guests. In this role, you will take orders, serve food and beverages as requested and ensure customer satisfaction throughout their visit. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹28000 - ₹35000 and a friendly work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
Overseeing day-to-day restaurant and banquet operations
Coordinating kitchen, service, and housekeeping staff
Maintaining SOPs and quality standards
Customer Service Excellence
Handling VIP guests and large event clientele
Managing guest complaints and feedback with professionalism
Ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction in both dining and event settings
Team Leadership & Training
Supervising and motivating staff
Conducting regular training and performance evaluations
Delegating responsibilities effectively during high-pressure events
Event/Banquet Planning & Execution
Coordinating with clients to understand banquet/event requirements
Designing floor layouts, buffet setups, and seating arrangements
Managing event timelines, staff, and logistics
Inventory & Cost Control
Managing food, beverage, and banquet supply inventory
Controlling wastage and ensuring cost-effective procurement
Working within budget constraints for events
Sales & Upselling
Promoting banquet packages and restaurant specials
Building client relationships and repeat bookings
Collaborating with the marketing team for promotions
Communication & Coordination
Coordinating with chefs, vendors, decorators, and external suppliers
Clear and timely communication with internal teams and clients
Fluent in English and local language (as needed)
Technology & POS Knowledge
Working knowledge of billing software, POS systems, and banquet booking tools
Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication
Understanding of digital marketing tools is a plus
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Diploma and 2 - 5 years of experience. They must have good communication skills, basic knowledge of food and beverages, and a customer-friendly attitude.
