Job Summary:
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for supporting the smooth operation of the restaurant by ensuring adherence to all Gatti Chutney Outlet Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), providing hands-on support in busy sections, training new team members, and resolving operational issues during their shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Team Management:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the team members within the assigned shift.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure their timely completion.
Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their performance and productivity.
Customer Service:
Ensure good customer service by assisting team members in resolving customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
Monitor the team's adherence to customer service standards and provide coaching as needed.
Department Operations:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned shift: cashier, counter, parcel, kitchen, or housekeeping.
Ensure that all department activities are executed efficiently and in accordance with SOP.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene within the department.
Training and Development:
Assist in the training and onboarding of new team members.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
Identify training needs and provide coaching to improve performance.
Quality Control:
Ensure the quality and consistency of products and services within the assigned department.
Monitor food preparation, presentation, and portion control to maintain the brand's standards.
Conduct regular quality checks and address any issues promptly.
Reporting and Communication:
Communicate and coordinate with the Outlet Manager and other team leaders to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues.
Provide regular updates and reports on departmental performance and operational challenges.
Employee Scheduling and Roster Management:
Develop weekly rosters considering peak hours and employee availability.
Communicate schedules to the team and resolve conflicts promptly.
Support Outlet Manager:
Assist the Outlet Manager in the execution of their responsibilities and act as a point of contact in their absence
