The ideal candidate should have strong storytelling ability, technical editing skills, and a good understanding of pacing, audio, and visual design. You will work with raw footage and transform it into engaging video content that aligns with the company’s vision, brand, and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw video footage into high-quality videos for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, websites, or client use.

• Add transitions, effects, graphics, subtitles, and sound design to enhance videos.

• Perform color correction and color grading to maintain visual consistency and quality.

• Select and sync background music, sound effects, and voiceovers.

• Collaborate with creative teams (writers, designers, videographers, marketers) to achieve project goals.

• Review feedback and make necessary revisions quickly and efficiently.

• Organize and manage project files, footage, and assets for easy access and future use.

• Export and optimize videos in various formats, sizes, and aspect ratios for different platforms.

• Stay updated with editing styles, video trends, and best practices in digital media.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor with a strong portfolio or reel.

• Proficiency in editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.

• Basic motion graphics experience (After Effects, CapCut, Canva or similar) preferred.

• Strong knowledge of audio syncing, color grading, transitions, and post-production techniques.

• Excellent sense of timing, storytelling, and rhythm.

• Ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and manage multiple projects at once.

Preferred Skills

• Experience filming, shooting, or using cameras (not required but beneficial).

• Understanding of video formats (4K, 1080p), fps settings, and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1).

• Experience with social media video trends and optimization (Reels, Shorts, YouTube).

• Basic knowledge of branding, marketing, and content strategy.
