The NGO Trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for NGO staff, volunteers, and community stakeholders. The role requires strong knowledge of NGO functioning, capacity building, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices. The trainer will play a key role in enhancing organizational skills, program implementation, and compliance with CSR and development initiatives.
Develop and deliver training modules on NGO operations, community engagement, project management, and CSR initiatives.
Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements for NGO staff and beneficiaries.
Provide training on compliance, governance, documentation, and reporting aligned with CSR regulations.
Support capacity-building programs for NGOs to strengthen project design, implementation, and monitoring.
Train on soft skills (communication, leadership, teamwork) for staff and volunteers.
Collaborate with corporate CSR teams to align training content with CSR objectives.
Evaluate training effectiveness and prepare reports with recommendations for improvement.
Stay updated with CSR rules under Companies Act, NGO best practices, and donor requirements.
Strong understanding of NGO operations, policies, and field challenges.
Knowledge of CSR frameworks, CSR project design, and statutory requirements.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience in developing training manuals, e-learning modules, and capacity-building toolkits.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities with reporting and documentation skills.
Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including corporates, government, and communities.
Minimum 6 months–3 years of experience in NGO capacity-building/training roles.
Experience in CSR project training or NGO–corporate partnerships preferred.
Proficiency in local language(s) and English.
