Position Title: Telecaller
To support sales operations by communicating with retailers, collecting orders, confirming promotional schemes and loyalty programs, and ensuring accurate and timely daily reporting. The Telecaller plays a key role in maintaining smooth communication between the company and its retail partners.
Key Responsibilities
Order Collection
Call assigned retailers daily to collect sales orders as per the route or list provided.
Record and enter orders accurately into the system or report sheet shared.
Coordinate with the sales and logistics team to ensure timely order fulfilment.
Scheme Communication & Confirmation
Inform retailers about current sales schemes, offers, and discounts.
Confirm that the retailer has received and understood the scheme details.
Update confirmation status in the daily report.
Loyalty Program Coordination
Contact customers under the Branch Loyalty Program to provide updates and verify participation details.
Record confirmation or feedback from customers in the system.
Coordinate with backend teams for any issues or escalations related to loyalty points or benefits.
Data Handling & Reporting
Work on the provided retailer data lists to ensure all assigned calls are completed.
Maintain daily call logs and report call outcomes (orders collected, confirmations received, pending follow-ups, etc.).
Submit a daily status report summarizing total calls made, orders booked, pending issues, and next-day follow-up plans.
Customer Relationship Management
Maintain a polite, professional, and customer-focused attitude in all communications.
Gather customer feedback and relay relevant information to the sales or marketing team.
Build and maintain good rapport with retailers to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Internal Coordination
Liaise with branch teams, sales coordinators, and area managers to update order and scheme status.
Escalate any discrepancies or customer concerns promptly.
Participate in weekly performance review calls or meetings.
Key Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication (English, Kannada, Hindi) and telephone etiquette
Basic computer and Excel knowledge
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Good coordination and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently and meet daily call targets
Knowledge of sales promotions or trade schemes (preferred)
Qualifications
Minimum: Graduate (any discipline)
Experience: 0–2 years in tele calling, customer service, or sales coordination
