Academic Counselor Job Description

Our company is growing rapidly and is looking to fill the role of academic counselor. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all of the qualifications, but have sufficient experience and talent.

Responsibilities for academic counselor

•             Review/update degree audits, graduation applications and troubleshoot issues with central campus offices

•             Problem-solve student hardships, concerns, continuation policies, with student and faculty

•             Maintain student files and student databases, including tracking progress of majors

•             Participate in weekly All-Staff meetings

•             Create basic enrollment/counseling services reports

•             Support outreach activities including maintenance of the undergraduate blog, editing and creating content for the departmental webpage, facilitating activities for Majors, and participating in curricular promotions

•             Assist in planning and staffing departmental events aimed at undergraduate students

•             Serve as back up for other Advising Staff

•             Ability to work in a supportive and collaborative way with students, faculty, parents, and academic and student affairs staff

Required Language - Tamil, Telugu, Kannad, Malayalam

Education Experience: -Minimum 2 years working in a sales Good cross-cultural, interpersonal & communication skills, Team Management, convincing skills.

South Candidates comfortable to Relocate for Gurgaon.

Salary: ₹30,000 - ₹50,000.00 per month
