Position Overview:
The Inside Sales Executive is responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the Manufacturing Company through proactive sales and relationship management. This role focuses on identifying and closing sales opportunities within a defined geographic area or market, managing inbound customer inquiries, and assisting in the sales cycle. The Inside Sales Executive will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure customer satisfaction, meet sales targets, and contribute to the overall growth of the company in the adventure manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Generation & Prospecting:
Identify and target new customers, including distributors, retailers, and direct consumers.
Generate leads through outbound cold calling, email campaigns, and attending virtual trade shows or webinars.
Qualify inbound leads and inquiries effectively.
Present and promote company products, solutions, and services to potential customers.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing product information and ensuring a smooth buying process.
Provide post-sale support and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.
Sales Support:
Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
Work with the production team to ensure product availability and delivery timelines.
Collaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and campaigns.
Sales Reporting & Tracking:
Track sales leads, customer interactions, and sales activities in CRM software.
Provide regular reports to the sales manager on sales performance, conversion rates, and pipeline status.
Product Knowledge & Industry Awareness:
Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s products, as well as the competitive landscape in the adventure manufacturing industry.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and product innovations.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
Collaborate with external sales reps, product managers, and customer service teams to meet customer needs and maximize sales opportunities.
Participate in regular sales meetings and contribute ideas to improve sales processes.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
2-4 years of experience in inside sales, preferably within manufacturing, outdoor products, or related industries.
Experience working with CRM software and sales tools.
Skills:
