Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Sales Specialist with a fitness background and proven sales experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will connect with potential customers, understand their wellness goals, and guide them toward the Company's offerings. Your expertise in fitness and ability to build rapport will be critical in driving growth and helping our users embark on a transformative yoga journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Engagement: Connect with prospects to understand goals and position Shvasa’s tailored programs
Sales Execution: Drive subscription sales, including upsells to premium plans like YTT
Lead Management: Manage leads via CRM with timely follow-ups and targeted sales strategies
Fitness Advocacy: Use your fitness expertise to promote yoga’s holistic benefits and live instruction
Performance Optimization: Achieve sales targets and refine pitches based on performance insights
Market Feedback: Capture user feedback to support product and service enhancements
Qualifications:
• Bachelors/Masters in management or related fields.
• A background in fitness (e.g., yoga instruction, personal training, nutrition, or other wellness-related roles).
• Ed-tech experience can be a plus.
• Proven 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in the US/Canada market.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their goals.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Familiarity with CRM tools.
• Experience working in a growing startup environment is a plus.
