The Admission Counselor is responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing information on academic programs, application procedures, and financial aid opportunities. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer service orientation, and a thorough understanding of the institution's offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist prospective students with the admissions process, including application submissions, document verification, and eligibility assessments.
Provide accurate and detailed information on academic programs, admissions criteria, and campus life.
Conduct one-on-one consultations, group presentations, and virtual webinars to promote the institution.
Review applications, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications.
Respond to inquiries from prospective students, parents, and external partners.
Coordinate with academic departments, financial aid, and student services to ensure a smooth admissions process.
Track and report on application statuses, enrollment trends, and conversion rates.
Represent the institution at educational fairs and recruitment events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with student admissions software and databases is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Previous experience in higher education admissions or counseling.
Multilingual skills are a plus.
Hindi and English fluent
