Job Title: Credit Card Sales Executive / Business Development Executive
Reporting To: Sales Manager / Area Manager / BDM
Location: Field / Branch / Assigned Territory
Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify potential customers via door-to-door, footfall in branches, retail outlets, tie-ups, digital leads, etc.
Cold calling, tele-calling, walk-in customer engagement.
Product Presentation & Selling
Explain features, benefits, eligibility criteria, and terms & conditions of different SBI credit card variants.
Match the right card product to customer’s requirements (spend pattern, income, credit history).
Address customer objections / questions; persuade them to apply.
Application Processing & Documentation
Assist customers in filling out application forms (online / offline).
Verify KYC documents (ID proof, address proof, income proof etc.).
Submit applications properly to the back-office / underwriting team.
Achieving Sales Targets
Meet or exceed daily / weekly / monthly / quarterly targets set by management.
Track own sales funnel & pipeline; follow up till closure.
Customer Relationship & After-Sales
Follow up with customers post-application for clarifications, status, etc.
Ensure customer satisfaction, resolve minor issues or redirect escalations.
Cross-sell or upsell other banking / financial products as permitted.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor competitor offerings, market trends, schemes or promotions by other banks / NBFCs.
Provide feedback to product / marketing teams regarding customer preferences, objections, new demands.
Daily / weekly reporting of leads, closure ratio, challenges, pipeline to manager.
Compliance & Process Adherence
Adhere to regulatory norms, RBI / banking / credit card compliance, KYC / anti-money laundering norms.
Follow internal SOPs, guidelines, quality checks.
