Hose Assembly Machines India Pvt Ltd is a subsidiary of a German manufacturing company specializing in industrial hose assembly machinery and equipment. We maintain strong operational ties with our German parent company and require seamless communication between our Indian operations and German headquarters.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Mechanical Engineer cum Technician with strong technical expertise and English communication skills to support our operations in Gurgaon. The successful candidate will work closely with German management and technical teams, requiring daily communication in English to ensure smooth project execution and technical support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Duties

• Read, interpret, and implement electrical schematic diagrams and technical drawings

• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and mechanical systems of hose assembly machines

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery

• Install, commission, and test electrical control systems and mechanical components

• Conduct quality inspections and ensure compliance with German technical standards

• Document maintenance activities, fault analysis, and repair procedures

• Support manufacturing processes and resolve technical issues promptly

Communication & Coordination

• Communicate daily with German management and technical teams in English

• Participate in video conferences and technical discussions with German counterparts

• Translate technical requirements and specifications between German and Indian teams

• Prepare technical reports and documentation in English

• Provide technical support and training to local staff as required

Project Support

• Assist in machine installation and commissioning projects

• Support customer visits and technical demonstrations

• Coordinate with German engineers for technical guidance and problem resolution

• Maintain inventory of spare parts and technical documentation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance

• Experience with industrial machinery, preferably in manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Mandatory: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic diagrams and technical drawings

• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical maintenance

• Knowledge of PLC systems, motor controls, and industrial automation

• Understanding of electrical safety standards and procedures

• Familiarity with hand tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment

Language & Communication

• Mandatory: Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written)

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly with German colleagues

• Professional presentation and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to work in a multicultural environment
