OT Technician

• Preparation and Sterilization:

  Setting up the operating room, sterilizing instruments and equipment, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available before surgery. 

• Assisting During Surgery:

  Passing instruments to the surgical team, suctioning fluids, maintaining a sterile field, and monitoring equipment. 

• Post-Surgery Care:

  Cleaning the operating room, disposing of hazardous waste, and assisting with patient transfer to recovery. 

• Equipment Maintenance:

  Ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are in good working order, troubleshooting malfunctions, and coordinating repairs. 

• Patient Safety:

  Ensuring patient safety from the time they enter the operating room until they are transferred to the recovery area. 

• Communication and Collaboration:

  Working effectively with surgeons, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
