Position Overview
The EV Charging Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of electric vehicle charging stations and associated electrical infrastructure across multiple depot locations. This role combines hands-on technical work with preventive maintenance planning and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily visits to charging stations across our depot network to ensure proper functionality
Conduct basic maintenance checks and cleaning of EV charging equipment
Monitor and record key electrical parameters using testing equipment
Report any abnormalities or malfunctions to senior technical staff
Maintain detailed logs of daily inspections and maintenance activities
Assist in basic troubleshooting of charging equipment issues
Required Qualifications
Qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
Basic understanding of electrical systems and safety
Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
Technical Skills
Basic knowledge of electrical testing equipment
Ability to read and understand technical manuals
Familiarity with computer systems and mobile apps
Basic understanding of electrical safety procedures
Working Hours
Full-time position
Regular working hours with daily site visits
