Job Description: Sales & Marketing – Logistics

Position: Sales & Marketing Executive / Manager
Department: Sales & Business Development
Industry: Logistics, Transportation, and Supply Chain

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics, freight forwarding, and transportation.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, transporters, and business partners.

• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective customers.

• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize profitability.

• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.

• Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and expand the company’s client base.

• Manage marketing campaigns, digital promotions, and participation in trade fairs/exhibitions.

• Develop strategic partnerships to strengthen market presence.

• Prepare MIS reports, sales forecasts, and performance analysis for management review.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain, and freight forwarding industry.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to develop client relationships and close deals effectively.

• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms.

• Goal-oriented, self-driven, and capable of working under pressure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.

• 2–7 years of experience in sales/marketing (preferably in logistics/transportation).

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

• Networking skills with existing client base will be an added advantage
