We are seeking a results-driven Insurance Agency Manager to lead and manage a team of insurance agents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, recruiting and developing a high-performing team, and ensuring compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
Team Recruitment & Development
Recruit, train, and mentor new insurance advisors/agents.
Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance reviews.
Sales & Business Development
Drive business through the agency channel.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Develop and implement local marketing strategies to generate leads.
Client Management
Maintain strong relationships with clients.
Provide excellent post-sales support and services.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure timely and accurate documentation as per IRDAI norms.
Monitor compliance across the team and maintain audit-ready records.
Sales Performance
% Achievement of monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
Number of policies sold and premiums collected.
Team Metrics
Number of active agents in the team.
Retention rate of recruited agents.
Training hours conducted per agent.
Customer Success
Customer satisfaction scores (CSAT).
Number of customer complaints vs. resolved cases.
Operational Compliance
% of documentation accuracy.
Number of regulatory or internal audit issues raised.
Minimum 1-8 years of experience in insurance sales or agency management.
Graduation in any stream (preferred: Finance/Management/Marketing).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proven ability to recruit, train, and manage a sales team.
