Role Overview
The Café Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the overall sales, customer service, and daily operations of the kids café and playzone. This role requires a customer-friendly personality, strong communication skills, and the ability to drive sales while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for children and parents.
✨ Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Revenue Growth
Achieve monthly sales targets for café items, party bookings, and playzone packages.
Create and promote offers, memberships, and combos to increase revenue.
Actively upsell food items and playzone services to walk-in customers.
Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
2. Customer Service & Guest Experience
Welcome customers and ensure a warm, child-friendly environment.
Handle customer queries, bookings, and feedback professionally.
Resolve complaints promptly and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Ensure quick response to phone inquiries, WhatsApp chats, and online bookings.
3. Café & Playzone Operations
Oversee day-to-day café operations including food service, hygiene, and ambiance.
Ensure smooth functioning of the playzone during peak and non-peak hours.
Coordinate with kitchen staff, helpers, and reception team.
Monitor food preparation, serving time, and quality standards.
4. Team Management
Manage, supervise, and train café staff, attendants, and playzone helpers.
Prepare staff schedules and assign daily responsibilities.
Maintain discipline, grooming standards, and teamwork.
5. Billing & Cash Handling
Handle POS/billing software, cash, UPI payments, discounts, and coupons.
Ensure accurate billing and end-of-day reconciliation.
Maintain stock records for café items.
6. Marketing & Promotions
Support marketing activities such as festival offers, weekend promotions, and loyalty programs.
Coordinate with management for social media content, photos, and promotional videos.
Help in planning and promoting birthday parties, events, and kids’ workshops.
7. Safety, Hygiene & Compliance
Ensure café cleanliness, table sanitization, and safe food handling.
Monitor kids’ playzone safety rules and ensure staff follow child-safety protocols.
Conduct regular quality checks of café area, kitchen, and playzone.
