Job Title: Sales Manager – Mechanical Engineer
Location: PCMC / Bhosari (Work Location: In-person)
Experience Required: Minimum 8–10 years in Technical Sales
Education: Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (Minimum 75% in 10th Exam)
Other Requirements:
Must own a Bike / 2-wheeler with a valid Driving License.
Bond of 1 year is compulsory.
Lead and manage the sales team to achieve growth and sales targets.
Conduct regular visits to existing and prospective clients to understand their technical/mechanical requirements.
Respond promptly to customer calls, mails, and visits.
Prepare and send quotations, cost estimations, and proposals for customer enquiries.
Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand the company’s customer base and ensure strong market presence.
Present sales, revenue, expenses reports, and accurate forecasts to management.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships by providing technical and business solutions.
Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, references, and exhibitions.
Negotiate and close deals ensuring timely payment collection from clients.
Coordinate with production, service, and accounts teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies, and report insights to management.
Maintain proper customer database, enquiry records, and follow-up schedules in ERP/CRM.
Provide training and guidance to the sales team for improving performance and technical understanding.
Ensure repeat business by offering after-sales support and maintaining excellent customer rapport.
Proven ability to drive the sales process from planning to closure.
Strong business sense and industry expertise (Mechanical / Material Handling Equipment preferred).
Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
