As a Sales Engineer, your job will be to deeply understand client needs on-site, recommend technical solutions, and bridge requirements between the field and our manufacturing teams. It’s a role combining engineering insight, client communication, and solution-building.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
• Visit factories, plants, and yards to understand client infrastructure, workflow, and pain points.
• Collect detailed technical parameters like load weight, material types, heat zones, power supply, etc.
• Present suitable Leister Tech solutions tailored to the client’s layout, production scale, and safety norms
• Handle inquiries, prepare cost estimations, and assist with technical/commercial negotiations.
• Track leads and opportunities using CRM or internal sales trackers.
• Coordinate installation timelines and oversee basic client training on-site.
• Provide basic troubleshooting or liaison with maintenance teams
👤 Who We’re Looking For:
• B.E./Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
• 0–3 years in B2B machinery sales, technical support, or application engineering
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment
• Willing to travel extensively across regions
• Effective communicator in English + local language
✅ Nice to Have:
• Prior internship or work experience in steel, foundry, or heavy industrial equipment companies
• Familiarity with equipment like cranes, trolleys, vibrators, magnets, or shearing machines
• CRM, Excel, AutoCAD (basic), or tender documentation exposure
