Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Development professional who will play a critical role in expanding our presence in the Indian market. This individual will act as a trusted advisor to clients by combining consultative sales expertise, thought leadership, and relationship-building skills with persistence and resilience. The ideal candidate understands how to position technology services in a way that creates lasting client partnerships and drives repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for IT services, especially in areas such as API and system integration, cloud migration, application modernization, and enterprise development projects
Engage with Indian clients to understand their business and technical needs, then propose tailored solutions from iVoyant’s offerings
Develop compelling proposals, presentations, and pricing models that clearly communicate value and outcomes
Partner closely with technical, design, and delivery teams to shape solutions that align with client expectations and project requirements
Build and sustain long-term client relationships that foster trust and position iVoyant as a preferred technology partner
Maintain disciplined pipeline management through CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate forecasting
Stay informed on industry trends and competitor activities to refine market positioning and sharpen go-to-market strategies
Negotiate contracts, timelines, and budgets while ensuring strong client satisfaction
Report progress, insights, and market intelligence to leadership to influence strategic direction
Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience selling IT services with a track record of success in consultative, project-based engagements
Strong understanding of areas such as API integration, cloud services, system modernization, and enterprise app development
Skilled at consultative selling and able to translate complex technology concepts into compelling business value
Experience engaging with clients in the India or other global markets with the ability to adapt communication styles across cultures.
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to create persuasive proposals and deliver executive-level presentations
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
Familiarity with CRM platforms and reporting tools
Experience leveraging freelancing platforms such as Upwork, Fiverr, or Freelancer for supplemental business development
