5 Days working B2B sales - Logistic.
:Key responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Client Acquisition
Find companies that need transportation, part-load, full-truckload, warehousing, or courier services.
Cold calling, field visits, meeting purchase managers, logistics and warehouse managers.
2. Understanding Client Needs
Understand what type of goods they move (auto parts, FMCG, pharma, machinery, etc.).
Check their routes, delivery timelines, load size, urgency, and budget.
3. Offering the Right Solutions
Prepare quotations based on vehicle type, distance, and service required.
Suggest suitable transport options like part-load, full-truckload, express, or container services.
4. Closing Sales & Profitability
Negotiate rates within company guidelines and finalize deals.
Ensure clients start giving regular business and maintain good margins.
5. Relationship Management
Regularly visit existing clients to ensure they are satisfied with the service.
Build strong client relationships and use referrals to bring in new customers.
6. Coordination with Operations
Share shipment details with the operations team.
Track shipments, give clients updates, and resolve any delivery issues.
7. Business Growth & Planning
Identify new business improvement opportunities with the Client Account Manager.
Help in setting weekly/monthly/quarterly sales targets and meeting them.
8. Reporting
Maintain daily reports of visits, leads, follow-ups, and closures.
Work towards achieving monthly sales and revenue goals.
